Builders Automation Machinery (BAM) pre-hung door machine with bi-lingual touch-screen controls, 2017 Model 996E / TS, designed for between 200 and 400 doors per day. Processes 6′-8″, 7′-0″ and 8′-0″ door heights and 1 3/8″ or 1 3/4″ thick door slabs, interior or exterior. Processes the hinge jamb including hinge application. Also processes strike jamb within a machine cycle time of 45 seconds. Automatically position and ejects the door. Has a programmable second stage to adjust lock bore and dead bolt dimensions. Self-diagnostics built into the controls for easy-to-understand trouble shooting. Routs 3 1/2″, 4″ and 4 1/2″ hinge pockets, including flush hinge routing (operator selected). Does 2 3/8″ or 2 3/4″ backsets. Includes dust collection attachments, automatic door positioner (ADP) which eliminates the operator having to touch the door slab. New and refurbished units are available. 220 volt, 3 phase electric required. 120 PSI @ 18 CFM air required.
Options include: hinge applicators for 3.5″ hinges (4″ hinges placed manually), dual-bowl feed for fast screw color changes, 3-degree or 0-degree (flush) hinge routing, door loader, ball catch drilling and assembly tables.
